Wondering Wednesday - Favorite Recent Reads

Quick! Tell me three books you've really enjoyed recently - the ones that come to the top of your head first. This doesn't have to be favorite books of all time, or even this year. Just whatever you would consider "recent".

Here are mine:
TELL ME A SECRET by Holly Cupala
YOU WISH by Mandy Hubbard
FREEFALL by Mindi Scott

Your turn! Ready, set, go...

  1. Delirium- Lauren Oliver
I Am Number Four - Pittacus Lore
    Nightshade- Andrea Cremer

  2. A Kiss in Time - Alex Finn
Far From You - Lisa Schroeder
    Ida B - Katherine Hannigan

  3. Loved The Sky is Everywhere and Far From You!

Some of these others I'll have to look into. thanks for the suggestions!

  4. Gravity Brings Me Down, by Natale Ghent. Other than that, which I loved, my recent reads haven't been especially memorable -- a few books I set aside unfinished. But the TBR pile awaits!

  5. Ender's Game - Card
The Fellowship of the Ring (again!) - Tolkien
    Bag of Bones - King

  6. The Art of Racing in the Rain (Garth Stein)
The Book Thief (again...I could inhale Zusak's poetic language every day).
My students' "immitations" of Zusak (their own stories in his style): some of their pieces are breathtaking

  7. They were three books by writer friends:

    Flying Feet by James Mccann
    Cursed by Maureen Bush and
Key in Lock by Rona Altrows.

The first two are for young readers.
